Weight-loss surgery is a transformative procedure, with changes happening not only in appearance but in eating habits as well. Again, a small percentage of people eligible for surgery undergo this procedure. What are your thoughts on robotic surgery? The benefits include better vision (robots have binocular vision), shorter hospital days and recovery times, and smaller incisions. On the other hand, surgical robots are costly.

To tell you the truth, I have no idea whether my surgery included robotics or not. I wonder how common it is? The procedure might be more costly, but I bet it balances out since hospital stays are shortened.

From what I have heard, there are smaller, fewer incisions and more precise movements where robotic surgery is involved. I am not sure if the cost involved can balance out with shortened hospital days, fewer and smaller scars, and less pain?
