I’m getting a little bored with my exercise routine and need to switch things up, starting with the playlist.  Which songs motivate you and keep you moving?

Whenever I go to the gym, I listen to music that calms my mind and helps me to focus. If I am with my instructor, there is always some creativity with the playlist. His favourite beat is Pump up the Jam by Technotronic.

Do you have a Spotify account?  If not, you can sign up for a free account or pay to skip the ads.  This is one of my fave cardio playlist.  This is another good one if you’re into Rap and R&B. Spotify has tons of playlists ready to go which is super convenient.

Wow, I will head over to Spotify and register but then, how much does it cost to skip the ads (that are usually a great distraction). That is quite a rich playlist, and I guess there is more, depending on the preferred genre.

Pandora is another good music streaming service. If you search for an artist you like, Pandora will play other similar songs you might like. It’s a great way to find some new artists and music to listen to.

I like to workout to anything with a good beat. Beyonce, Taylor Swift, Foo Fighters, and Outkast all have some great songs to workout to. I try to rotate my music every few months so I don’t get too bored of the same stuff.

Anything fast!! I like upbeat music, things with a quick beat. Most times I work out with an instructor and she chooses the music. I usually cool down to county music.

I usually put my iTunes library on shuffle and skip over anything too slow. Other times I look up a YouTube playlist or livestream. I might get a music app subscription in the future, Spotify or Tidal.

That is what I use, YouTube. I have several playlist saved. It’s great! All of my music is upbeat and fast until the cool down songs.
