HopefulBeauty, how did your appointment go? Those who can get through their diet after the surgery without any cheat day must be superhumans. I think it gets better as your body and mind get used to the new system, so I hope you won’t be too discouraged.

My appointment went well my surgeon was happy with the healing of my incisions he told me a lot of patients struggle with their diet fresh out of surgery and I also got approved to move on to soft foods. Thank you so much for being understanding and supportive.

Congratulations! It was harder to keep myself motivated than I had imagined. Looking back now, maybe that’s just how it is. As long as we keep on pushing through, I believe we’ll see the result of our efforts. All the best with your journey!

HopefulBeauty, I had my surgery on May 26 last year. I started at 112 kg; now I’m around 62-63 kg. There are days when I feel like I will never reach my target weight or go even lower (target is 60), but then I realize what a blessing it is to be where I am today. My goal now is to reach my target while staying positive as much as I can.
