There’s an inspirational article on Runner’s World about a woman named Amy Mosher who has lost about 195-lbs. since having weight-loss surgery.  What I like about her story is her unwavering self-confidence.  Mosher enjoyed her life when she weighed over 300-lbs; she just wanted to be healthier.  Mosher explained that, “Accepting the new me when I liked the old me has taken time to get used to. The biggest thing is I have to remember that I like what the new me can do now, and I can’t wait to see how much more she can do.”

I love that!  I can’t wait to see what I can do in the future.

That’s great! I love uplifting stories. I am sure you will love what the new you can do in the future. I’m loving what I can do. I do a lot of new things, just at a slow pace. Thanks for sharing the story.

Weight loss surgery is never the easy way out, and she says as much. That she was able to lose about 65 pounds by joining a training program is remarkable. Her story makes me think that it all starts with having the right mindset because this journey is never about walking in the park! Do you agree?
