I’m getting nervous Pre-Surgery

I have been doing the steps needed to get my gastric sleeve surgery scheduled. I am scheduled to have the throat scope in two weeks and then hopefully get scheduled. I am not necessarily worried about the procedure but rather the life long commitment of taking calcium and vitamins and also feeling like I can never have the same thing I prepare for the rest of my family. I don’t want to make two meals every night. Does that make sense?

Yes! I hear you. You won’t have two make two meals. You’ll be serving your family the same healthy meals your eating just at different portions. I love to cook and was really afraid of how this surgery would change my life. I’m only week 1 post-op and I want to start cooking already.
