So I know dumping with sleeve surgery isn’t very common, and it’s more people who had a GBP that dump but have you ever experienced something with your sleeve? Or something similar to a dumping? And what happened?

I had surgery about eight or so months ago and I haven’t experienced dumping syndrome yet. I’m very concerned about it to be honest. I’m terrified I’ll eat the wrong thing in a public setting and mess my pants. So, I tend to be very careful about what I eat when I’m outside my home. I avoid sugary things like the plague. However, I must admit that I eat my usual stuff at home. I basically enjoy the same things I did before I got sleeved just in much smaller portions and even then I haven’t experienced dumping syndrome. I can’t let go of the fear though.
I ate a bunch of sugar in the beginning, way before I was supposed to be off the diet. Literally, spoonfuls of sugar. I felt jittery and my stomach ached and cramped for a long time afterward. It didn’t affect anything else, but it sure scared me to death. I haven’t had any problems since then. What’s funny is that I didn’t even enjoy the sugar like I used to. My mind just wanted it, I guess.
No, I’ve never experienced dumping syndrome. I had surgery years ago and I’m not exactly the most careful person when it comes to eating in public, but so far it’s been fine. I think I’ve been very lucky as I haven’t experienced any problems after having my sleeve procedure.
