Close to half of the population that undergoes weight-loss surgery fall victim to one complication or the other. The common ones are constipation, gallstones and wound infections. Which ones have you also heard about before?
I already had my gallbladder removed before but I heard a lot of people will have to have it removed after the WLS. For the sleeve, a side effect is heartburn. Luckily I haven’t had this problem but I know a lot of people who do and had a bypass done after, because of it!
